AVID's mission is to close the achievement gap by preparing all students for college and career readiness and success in a global society.
What do we look for in candidates for AVID?
- Students who are willing and driven to take honors coursework.
- Students who have the potential / capability to work above grade level.
- Students who MAY be the first in their families to pursue higher education.
